Security solutions
Product security market is growing exponentially because of the problem with counterfeiting and piracy. Point Scandinavia offer holographic security solutions for effective protection and branding. Hologram can be used for security or decorative purposes. Holograms protect the product from being counterfeited and give the product attention and an eye-catching effect as well as adding value and promoting their brand and image. They will be looked at longer than other graphic mediums. Holograms are highly effective means of providing protection against copying of goods and provide protection against duplication by electronic scanning or color photocopying. The hologram carrier is designed with a registration mark on the film. The foiling press detects the registration mark and assure that each hologram is printed in the right position. By the effect of heat and pressure the hologram image is transferred to the substrate. Customized continuous holograms are delivered on a polyester carrier in rolls, cut and spooled on a core for processing in a hot stamping process. Hologram
2D From digital original. Usually for change in colour as the hologram moves. No three-dimensional effect. Two dimensional graphic image. Flat artwork. One layer hologram image. Dramatic multicolor effect within a single plane.
2D/3D From digital original. Made from flat art work. Two-dimensional layers. Image in two or more planes.
3D Strong three dimensional effect. Manufactured from model in 1:1 scale.
